I’ve tried out a lot of ND and the Tokina Cine Pro IRND are the most neutral I’ve used. They are comparable to other carbon deposit based ND but generally for less cost. A bonus is the filter pouches are really nice! I’m not sure if they still do this to the filters but my set have a rubber gasket on the outside that protects them from chipping too. Love it.
I’ve spent a while researching and trying out IRNDs for use with my Zeiss lenses, RED camera and even Blackmagic Camera (that really needs IR cut)
The Tokina Cinema Pro line are the ones I bought after an extensive search. There’s no colour shift. Nothing. They’re absolute quality, it’s basically exactly what you want from an IRND. They’re actually hard to review because they’re perfect. But they’re extremely easy to recommend. I will be buying more.
