Curtis Boggs captures unique and stunning images for commercials, various editorial, corporate assignments as well as TV and feature film. His work has appeared in numerous international publications, including National Geographic, Outside Traveler, Scuba Times, Rodale’s Scuba Diving, Traveler, Caribbean Travel.
His work has won numerous national and international awards, Tellys, festivals and have been featured on several magazine covers, films, commercials, and feature stories.
Known for festival winning films like; Rons Beads, Milk Money, A Christmas Promise, Boundary, Break, Coins Only, I Spy and TV series Hell Begins Tomorrow. Commercial work for clients like; Marriott, Oakley, Adidas, VA Aquarium, Safe Boats, Beecroft & Bull and more. “I grew up in an art family,” says Curtis. “My mother ran the art department in an advertising agency and was also a wonderful painter. He learned the importance of being true to art and the wonderful beauty our world holds. He also learned the intricate detail of how art and film affect us emotionally in advertising and narrative film and the importance of technical skills”
“My early film influence came from watching Sydney Pollack direct The Firm in Cayman Islands. Seeing how he worked with his DP John Seale, Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman, and the entire film crew left a lasting impression. Sydney was a wonderful leader with a keen sense of teamwork. From those days in 1993 on I dreamt of being a DP and working with directors like Pollack,” Curtis quoted.
Curtis is also known for a high level of technical skills together with an artistic vision.
Why do you want to be a Featured Artist:
Being part of a community of artists is important. I’d like to contribute to other artists growth as well as grow myself. Being a featured artist with Tokina will give me the opportunity to share my experiences and to learn from others.

He owns the 11-20mm cine zoom and rent the Vista Primes for special projects. He would like to own the 25-75 zoom and a basic set of Vista Primes.
